Ever Have One of THOSE Days?

Cats can have much in common with their humans. Just like us they can find themselves in odd, weird, awkward, or uncomfortable situations.

Here is Oliver quite satisfied with his wonderful find. He just loves boxes and now he has one that is very tall. He is completely unaware that Squish has her eye on his treasure as well. If Oliver steps away for a moment for any reason Squish will just slide right in and take over this amazing new box. Most cats won’t challenge Oliver in this way because they fear him to some degree. Squish fears nothing and will do whatever she wants.

When cats want to just chill and take a nap, they usually look for a favorite and or out of the way spot. I think this helps them to relax even more and increases their chances of not being disturbed. Since all of our cats are rescues many of them still tend to sleep with one eye open just in case they have to fight or flight.

Ruxin has found a nice little hideaway, but he is getting a little bigger now and it just doesn’t look like his choice is a very good fit anymore. Hopefully, his rear hanging down doesn’t pull him off the tower top.

You ever had a situation where the idea looks good on paper, but when you actually try it something just seems off? Ruby seems to have an extra foot that is just doing it’s own thing. It looks like there is not enough room for her foot and she’s just not sure what to do with it. This kind of reminds me of those new stories where somebody hits the gas instead of the brake and their car goes flying in reverse right into a nearby store.
