So Many Colors, Patterns, and Shapes

One of my favorite things about cats is the infinite “looks” there are. There is an endless number of types of colors, patterns, shapes, sizes, and hair type. Some cats start out as one color type and as they get older that color gradually changes to a different color.

Then there are the eyes. Wow! The cat eyes are amazing. Many are green in color, but I have seen gold, yellow, blue, orange. Then there are different shades of eye color too. Truly magnificent!

One of the most beautiful cats we have ever seen is Lola. She is super shy. She gets picked on by most of the other cats, despite our best efforts to prevent that. She usually manages to carve out spots for herself and she knows if we are in the vicinity she is safe. It has gotten better over the years too.

I try to be ready for pictures and video opportunities anytime, anywhere. You never know when there is that perfect light, angle, look, or background. Lola seems to know when I am taking her picture. I think perhaps she enjoys the extra attention.
